We Are

We’re data agile and tech-enabled at all steps along the way: lead gen, submission intake, underwriting, bespoke policy and endorsement creation; compliance and audit. Our solutions are carefully thought out to fit client needs. We don’t subscribe to the practice of one-size-fits-all, instant quoting. However, our modern systems allow us to respond to clients quickly.

Scale Fact Sheet

  • Scale has diligently underwritten through a changing market over its relatively short life span. Challenges of tightening terms in the market have been overcome, and Scale continues to deploy creative yet disciplined underwriting methods.
  • Scale has market-beating notification windows and notice trigger thresholds, we strive to ensure claims are handled correctly and efficiently.
  • Scale’s in-house claims manager works with claims/monitoring counsel to proactively manage claims and collaboratively recommend claims resolutions.
  • Scale’s collaborative approach to claims is evident in its Management Liability form. Unlike other carriers who may require insureds to use “panel counsel”, Scale works with your choice of counsel, and will even endorse your policy with your “preferred counsel” after a brief interview.
  • Scale has a second facility to write Contract Frustration Insurance. The CFI coverage allows Scale’s high-growth private companies to insure the “value” of the loss of one of their critical executives.
